This Privacy Policy governs the use of Foleo, an immigration management platform owned by Labour Connect Immigration Services and developed and operated by Line Code Technologies Pvt Ltd (collectively referred to as "Foleo," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Foleo platform, you agree to be bound by this Policy.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed, stored, and protected when users access or operate the Foleo platform. Foleo acts strictly as a technology provider and data processor, while immigration consultants, agencies, franchise partners, or organizations using the platform act as Data Controllers.
2. Information We Process
Foleo processes information uploaded or generated through platform usage, which may include:
- Client identification and contact details
- Immigration case records and application data
- Supporting documents (academic, employment, financial, or other related records)
- Communications, notes, appointment records, and status updates
- System logs and technical data for security, monitoring, and auditing
Foleo does not independently collect client data, nor does it determine how such data is used.
3. Purpose of Processing
Personal data is processed solely to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Foleo platform
- Enable secure immigration case management
- Improve platform performance, reliability, and usability
- Ensure system security, compliance, and auditability
Client data is not used for marketing, profiling, advertising, or unrelated purposes.
4. Data Security
Foleo implements industry-standard administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including:
- Encryption of data at rest and in transit
- Role-based access controls
- Restricted internal access
- Continuous system monitoring and periodic security reviews

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Foleo, Labour Connect Immigration Services, and Line Code shall not be held responsible for data breaches, unauthorized access, or security incidents arising from factors beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to cyberattacks, third-party service failures, user negligence, or force majeure events.
5. Third-Party Services & Cross-Border Transfers
Foleo may engage trusted third-party service providers for hosting, storage, payments, or security. Data may be processed in compliant jurisdictions such as Canada or India, using lawful safeguards for cross-border data transfers.
6. Data Retention
Personal data is retained for up to seven (7) years following case closure unless a longer or shorter period is required by law or instructed by the Data Controller. After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
7. Data Subject Rights
Requests relating to access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data must be directed to the relevant immigration consultant or agency. Foleo supports platform-level actions where legally required.
